GoodLister AI is a Chrome extension designed to help users generate product listing titles and descriptions using Google Gemini AI. This policy explains how the extension handles user information.

1. Information We Process

GoodLister AI may process:

• Product information: Product images, categories, existing listing information, and user-provided instructions needed to generate listings.
• API credentials: A Google Gemini API key provided by the user.
• Extension preferences: Selected AI model, custom prompts, and configuration settings.
• Advertising information: Limited technical and interaction data associated with advertisements displayed in the extension.

2. Google Gemini AI

When a user requests AI-generated listing content, GoodLister AI sends relevant product images, prompts, and listing information to Google's Gemini API.

The user's Gemini API key is used to authenticate these requests.

Google processes this information according to its applicable terms and privacy policies.

3. Local Storage

GoodLister AI stores the user's Gemini API key in Chrome's local extension storage.

Preferences and custom prompts may be stored using Chrome's extension storage features, including Chrome Sync where applicable.

GoodLister AI does not operate its own server for storing Gemini API keys or product listing information.

4. Advertising

GoodLister AI displays advertisements within its extension interface through PlayaYield.

To deliver and measure advertisements, limited technical information, including IP address, device type, browser type, and advertising interaction data, may be transmitted to PlayaYield and its advertising partners.

5. Information Sharing

GoodLister AI uses third-party services for specific functions:

• Google Gemini: AI-powered listing generation.
• PlayaYield: Advertising delivery and measurement.

Information is transmitted to these services as necessary for their respective functions. Their handling of information is governed by their applicable policies.

GoodLister AI does not independently sell user-submitted product images, listing information, or Gemini API keys.

6. Data Retention and User Control

Users can modify or remove stored API keys, prompts, and preferences through the extension's available settings or by clearing extension data.

Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored extension data, subject to Chrome's storage and synchronization behavior.

Data processed by Google or PlayaYield may be subject to those providers' separate retention policies.

7. Security

GoodLister AI uses HTTPS connections to communicate with Google Gemini and its advertising provider.

Users are responsible for protecting their Gemini API keys and reviewing AI-generated listing content before publication.
